Most of the people I work with are in the post hormonal birth control transition. I really struggled with hormonal birth control, which brought me on a long journey to fertility awareness. Learning about my body was totally life-changing. I started to appreciate what my body was doing instead of seeing it as a burden. FAM gave me confidence, provided a new level of closeness with my partner, and made me feel comfortable in my own skin for the first time in my life.
That’s why I want to make sure everyone has access to learning FAM. Because we all deserve access to unbiased, accurate information about our bodies, and our birth control. I’m committed to removing barriers to access and am always open to discussion around how I can best serve folks.
Ultimately, fertility awareness should be about people having agency over their own bodies. My course really focuses on a deep understanding of the reproductive hormones, which means that most of my “graduates” can interpret their own charts for hormonal imbalance and a host of health issues in addition to applying contraception or conception rules.
