Hi! I’m Laura 🙂
I have used Fertility Awareness since 2014 to prevent pregnancy, track the impact of food sensitivities, get pregnant, track the return of my fertility in the postpartum period, and more! Having the ability to know my cycle, and the knowledge to support whole-body health, is incredibly empowering.
It is my passion to support folks like you to reconnect with your body, get to know your cycle intimately, and start to feel your best. Fertility awareness is the only environmentally-friendly practice of fertility management that encourages us to appreciate the fascinating nature of our bodies. I am most proud of teaching fertility awareness from a gender-neutral perspective, encouraging folks to connect with their bodies in their most authentic and gender-affirming way.
I live and work in Anishnaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Missisaugas of the credit river Indigenous territory (Treaty 13 – Toronto). I work within anti-oppression, anti-racism, and trauma informed frameworks. I am open to working with folks from anywhere around the world who would like to be in a community of support with people of all genders and sexualities.
I have been serving the Toronto community for a decade as a sexual health counsellor, and reproductive justice advocate. I am well-versed in supporting people with birth control options, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy options, abortion, reproductive health, and healing from gender-based or sexualized violence. I am a certified Fertility Awareness Educator from the Association of Fertility Awareness Professionals (AFAP), and a Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner (HRHP), certified by Justisse College International.
