Hey there! I’m Ashley. I’m a fertility awareness educator, a sexuality educator, a full spectrum doula (birth, abortion, & miscarriage) and a somatic practitioner. I believe that birthwork, reproductive work, and trauma work are simultaneously personal and political—although we are incredibly resilient beings and have so much capacity for healing it’s still crucial to recognize the way institutions & systems of power (racism, patriarchy, capitalism, etc.) affect our bodies, families, & communities. Part of the work of the doula & healer is about trusting that people know what’s best for their body / family / life / healing journey and making sure people have the information, resources, & support to make the decisions that are best for them. Another part of the work is recognizing and dismantling systems of oppression that create and perpetuate pain & trauma.
