As a full-spectrum Fertility Awareness Educator (FAE) and Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner (HRHP), I meet you where you’re at in your body literacy and charting journey. My undergraduate degree was in Health Education and Integrative Health Studies, which is where I began to better understand the intricacies of the human body and the ways in which our physiology, environment and emotional body all intersect to inform our whole body health. Basically, I’m fluent in “hippie”, but rooted in science!
I came to this work as someone who was diagnosed with PCOS at a young age and had used hormonal contraceptives for a decade, but I knew that there had to be another way (spoiler alert – there is – and it’s been liberating)! I am so grateful for what Fertility Awareness and my charting practice has offered me throughout the years, and I am so fulfilled by this work – helping folks better understand their bodies, interpret the messages it’s giving them, and optimize their health to live in a more (freeing and) embodied way!
As a FAE, I have been working with folks all across the reproductive health spectrum – from charting for primary contraceptive purposes or transitioning off of hormonal contraceptives, to using tracking as a vital sign for whole body health or as a strategy to address hormonal imbalances, to using a charting method to optimize preconception and fertility, and/or navigate the changes of perimenopause. If you appreciate “real talk”, value complex concepts being broken down into bit-sized pieces, don’t mind an F-bomb here or there, and are interested in learning about ways to holistically support your body, we may be a great fit! I primarily offer individual virtual support, but will be introducing a virtual group program in 2024!
Outside of my work as a FAE I am also a full-spectrum doula and herbalist. When I’m not doing this work you can find me in my (unruly) garden, hiking around the Finger Lakes region of New York, attending and appreciating live music, planning travel around hot springs or whale watching, or indulging in anything super cozy (think baths, saunas, and nourishing foods or teas).
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I’m happy to be an ally and resource to you as you learn more about your cycle and body!
