Being a Fertility Awareness Educator is one of my more recent passions, but I feel like my whole life has been preparing me for this. I have been a Myofascial Release Therapist for almost 6 years and I naturally fell right into specializing in Women’s Health issues and pelvic floor therapy. I have experience struggling with pelvic pain, an IUD and side effects myself and the minute I found FAM my whole life was changed. I knew I had to get certified to teach. FAM aligns with the pelvic work I already do with clients and I am so passionate about helping people find contraception that works for them and their bodies. I also have a dance teaching history where I worked mostly with teenagers and my students and I openly talked about reproductive health and body health. I was someone they could come to and they could trust to give them answers to their questions. Now in my FA practice I love to work with teens and I hope to build more workshops and classes that cater to their needs. In addition to my Myofascial and Fertility practice I am an Aerial Arts Instructor. The circus community brings such an amazing energy to my life. It’s a community that is open and welcoming and I feel like it really mirrors what I like to bring forward when I work with clients for Fertility Awareness.
