My passion for teaching Fertility Awareness began with my own discovery of natural birth control in 2009. In addition to providing me with safe birth control, using the method brought me closer to myself and my body – it helped me on my journey of self-discovery.
My dedication as a Fertility Awareness Educator is to teach about how we can find deep health and wellbeing in our female bodies, and treat them with nurturing love and respect.
I am a trained Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner through Justisse College International in Canada (from where I graduated in 2017), and a certified Fertility Awareness Educator through the Association for Fertility Awareness Practitioners. My training has given me substantial knowledge in holistic physiology, endocrinology, nutrition and menstrual cycle charting. I teach natural birth control, as well as support people in the healing of menstrual cycle problems, hormonal issues, and infertility.
In 2021 I also completed the Sensiplan teacher training.
I am the chairperson for the Nordic Union for Fertility Awareness – a non-profit organisation promoting evidence-based education in Fertility Awareness based methods. I am the founder of the community platform Body Literacy Kin.
I have shaped my life around the question “what does it mean to thrive?”. This is reflected in my professional practice, and also in my personal life. I live in a tiny house on an organic community farm, have a deep practice of connecting with myself and the natural world, thrive from weaving community, love to sing and dance, relax by diving deep into nourishing books, and produce ridiculous amounts of fermented vegetables and bone broth.
